about

Created in an attempt to cope with loss and the lingering presence of death, Everything Aligned is a deeply personal album, and serves as a journey into the raw self. Crafted as an album in the traditional / prog-leaning sense of the term, it's meant to flow in its sequence from start to finish, each track laying the path that leads from naive openness, through suffering and devastation, ending finally at something resembling hope (although nothing is ever really final). Playing with elements of disparate types of dance music, Everything Aligned uses the sensuality and physicality of that medium to better communicate the intensity of the experiences translated here.

A cohesion of the shattered musical territory found on the trilogy of EPs Closure / Silver / Weight, Everything Aligned is an exploration of the self, a lifeline in the dead of night, or a collection of mostly danceable tunes (depending on one's needs).

about

Hoofwerk Hoofddorp, Netherlands

Hoofwerk is a permissive alter ego of W Keusch, allowing him to reconnect with the sensual and emotive aspects of music, after years spent languishing in the void. Aspects of dance, ambient, and instrumental forms commingle, always in service of the greater spirit of human expression through sound, with no adherence to hyper-contemporary relevance, social currency or genre prisons.
